👐 In this single session you will learn the basics of wheel throwing:
• Centering clay
• Opening
• Pulling walls
• Shaping on the wheel
👩🏫 Each class starts with demonstrations and throwing techniques before you begin.
🏺 Each student receives 2 balls of clay to transform into ceramic vessels of their choice using techniques taught in class.
⏰ Class includes 2 hours of hands-on instruction.
⚠️ Please note: This class does not include trimming, decorating, or glazing instruction.
👥 Class size is limited to 6 students for a more personal experience.
🔥 We will fire and glaze your creations for you based on your glaze choices and available options. Outcomes are not guaranteed due to the many factors involved—including those influenced by your hands.
🎨 This class is primarily for the experience, with your finished creations being an added bonus.
📚 If you’d like to create very specific pieces or learn the full pottery process, including trimming and glazing, we recommend joining one of our monthly courses.

Attendees arriving after the demonstration is complete (about 20–30 minutes late) will not be allowed to join class.
