Please check this FAQ before reaching out, as our hands are almost always covered in mud! If you can’t seem to find an answer below, shoot us an email for a quick response.

  • The studio is located at 4260 NW 1ST AVE Studio #54, Boca Raton FL 33431. Cross streets are Dixie Hwy and Spanish River Blvd. The building is white brick, we are a few doors from Prosperity Brewing. If you've turned into an alley, you are on the wrong side of the building. The front door is glass and there is a photo in your email!

  • Classes, workshops, and wheel sessions are non-refundable once booked, but they can always be given to a friend. Due to the nature of course timing and limited space-rescheduling is not available within 72 hours and may not be available at all due to bookings. Please sign up only if there are no scheduling conflicts on your end.

  • To be notified of a restock of our courses, classes and any sold out service you are interested in, please open the product page for the class or course, choose the date and time you are interested in and input your email in “Get notified for next course sign ups!” Classes and courses for the following month may be listed ~mid month.

  • Your pieces will be ready a minimum of 4 weeks after your class date. You will receive an email with pickup instructions. If are unsure of which class you attended, check your email and then head on over to this page to see if your class work has been completed. Please do not reach out for this information.

  • Our studio is not suitable for children or young teens. We highly recommend the Boca Raton Museum of Art School for children & teens ceramic courses.

  • Not at all! Everyone is welcome, especially beginners. To be a tiered member however, you must have prior experience with studio membership, which you can obtain through taking our 4 week course.

  • At the moment, the designated pickup day is Saturday from 2-6PM. If you are unavailable during that time, please respond to your pickup email. Please do not call to provide this information, having a written message is easier for us to look back on and get your work as quickly and efficiently as possible!

    It is important to note that all work not picked up within 30 days of being fired will be donated. We are a small studio with limited space, and we need to make room for creations, we hope you understand!

  • Rescheduling is permited within 1 hour of booking in the event of a date error. Due to the nature of course timing and limited space-rescheduling is not available within 72 hours and may not be available for certain workshops. Please sign up only if there are no scheduling conflicts on your end.

  • We love a party! Birthday parties, group teambuilding, personal events, family bonding and more. All Mudworks parties include clay, glaze, firings and instruction. All party goers will end up with at least one handmade piece. Classes can be tailored to the experience you wish to have, leave the brainstorming to us and enjoy your private studio time!   • In the process of ceramics there are 2 firings. First, the clay vessels are fired to cone 04, 1945°F/1060°C turning the vessel into ceramic “bisqueware”. After a food safe glaze is applied, we do a second firing to cone 6, 2322°F/ 1222°C.

  • We do not. We can recommend checking out kilnshare.com for kiln needs and online clay retailers for purchase.

  • Bring your enthusiasm, creativity and patience! Clothes that are easily washed are recommended. Please make sure nails are trimmed and short for wheel throwing classes. If you are attached to your mani, we suggest a handbuilding class. We provide aprons and everything else, as well as instruction. You are welcome to bring beverages and snacks, keep in mind that for some classes your hands will be in use 99% of the time. Please make sure all cups are anything but glass.

  • We typically introduce new classes around the middle of each month. If you find them sold out, we recommend signing up for our newsletter!
