This class is great for those who’d like to experience a more private class with their loved one. Great for a fun date, anniversary, birthday or just family fun- ghosting is allowed! Take your time in this private class and enjoy drinks or snacks while you learn to make some unique creations.
You will be allowed to choose a start time that works for you during which we do not have group classes. The calendar on the homepage is updated monthly- the drop down menu will list possibilities and we will reach out to confirm a date and time. Please note we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice for a private date.
In this single session you will learn the basics of throwing clay, centering, opening, pulling and shaping on a pottery wheel. Each class starts with demonstrations and throwing techniques. Each student receives 2 balls of clay to transform into a ceramic vessel of their choice with techniques taught in the class.
This class includes up to 1.5 hours of hands on instruction and does not include instruction on trimming or finishing pieces, including decorating and glazing. Class size is limited to 2 students (unless you’d prefer a double date!) We will fire, and glaze your creations for you based on your choices and glazes available, we do not guarantee outcomes for a variety of factors- including those influenced by your hands! This class is primarily for the experience with your creations being an added benefit. If you are set on creating a very specific piece or understanding the lengthy process, as well as trimming and glazing, we suggest joining our monthly courses!
Pieces will be available for pick up 4-8 weeks after your class date. We will only hold them for up to 30 days after you are notified. Click here to learn more about our process.

Please wear clothing and shoes that you don’t mind getting mud on, we provide aprons! Please take the necessary precautions if you have any cuts or abrasions on your hands, and try to have short nails- we love a beauitful mani, but bear in mind longer nails will get in the way.
Attendees who arrive late may not be able to complete project and miss out on intro.
Workshops are non-refundable and rescheduling is only possible within one hour of booking.
