Beginner's Wheel Throwing Class (16+)

πΊ This is our beginner-friendly wheel throwing experience where youβll learn the fundamentals of working on the wheel in a relaxed, supportive setting. Perfect for first-timers!
π In this single session you will learn the basics of wheel throwing:
β’ Centering clay
β’ Opening
β’ Pulling walls
β’ Shaping on the wheel
π©βπ« Each class begins with demonstrations and guided throwing techniques.
πΊ Each student receives 2 balls of clay to transform into ceramic vessels using the techniques taught in class.
β° Class includes 2 hours of hands-on instruction.
β οΈ Please note: This class does not include trimming, decorating, or glazing instruction.
π₯ Class size is limited to 5 students for focused, personal instruction.
π₯ We will fire and glaze your creations for you based on available studio glazes. Outcomes vary due to the nature of clay and individual technique.
π― This class is primarily for the experience, with finished pieces as a bonus.

β’ Wear clothing and shoes you donβt mind getting muddy
β’ We provide aprons
β’ Cover any cuts or abrasions on your hands
β’ Short nails are recommended (we love a beautiful mani, but longer nails can get in the way!)
β³ Late Policy:
Attendees arriving after the demonstration is complete (about 20β30 minutes late) will not be allowed to join class.
